Director of Clinical Operations

Job Summary

Combining hands-on clinical trial execution with broader development operations responsibilities, the fully remote Director of Clinical Operations will oversee early-phase oncology studies, manage financial tracking and budget support, and drive process improvements within the clinical operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide program-level delivery oversight for assigned oncology studies, ensuring adherence to milestones, timelines, and quality standards
• Support financial tracking and budget management by maintaining accurate budget trackers and processing vendor invoices
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance clinical operations efficiency and consistency across studies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical operations or development operations within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting
• Demonstrated experience managing early-phase oncology trials, including site management and vendor coordination
• Proficiency in clinical trial budget tracking and operational tools, with strong Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical trial regulatory standards
