Director of Cloud AI Operations
Job Summary
To lead cloud and AI infrastructure operations, the full-time remote Director of Cloud AI Operations will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud and container-based applications, while collaborating with various teams to adopt AI technologies and enhance operational processes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for applications on Google Cloud Platform and container systems like Kubernetes
- Design and implement secure, high-availability infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote AI infrastructure adoption and secure practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering, particularly with Google Cloud Platform
- Proven experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
- Experience designing secure cloud architectures and implementing HA/DR solutions
- Working knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure concepts and Google AI services
