Director of Cloud Security Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time salaried Director of Cloud Security Engineering will manage the Security Engineering and CloudSecOps function, defining and executing the security engineering roadmap while ensuring compliance and resilience across various environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mature the Security Engineering and CloudSecOps program to protect the organization and its stakeholders
• Define and execute the security engineering roadmap, covering enterprise security solutions and cloud security architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into development pipelines and operational practices

Required qualifications

• University degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
• One or more relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
• Strong understanding of cloud security architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
