Director of Collections

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership in a remote capacity, the full-time Director of Collections will develop and execute collection strategies, oversee performance measures, and drive cross-functional initiatives to minimize financial loss and enhance revenue protection.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive collection strategies aligned with corporate financial objectives
• Lead high-stakes negotiations and manage complex billing and contract disputes
• Establish and train collection teams while driving performance and motivation initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, operations, or a related field
• Minimum of ten years of experience in Enterprise and Wholesale collections or related fields
• At least five years of experience in a leadership role, including performance management and training
• Advanced knowledge of state and federal laws governing collection activities
• Experience managing third-party collection agencies or external vendors
