Job Summary
To support a growing nonprofit organization, the full-time remote Director of Communications will develop and execute a proactive communications strategy, enhance HARP's visibility, and create compelling materials for diverse audiences including policymakers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Executive Director on branding and narrative framing
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for HARP's initiatives, including the State Technical Assistance Center
- Enhance HARP's digital presence and manage content across various channels while tracking performance metrics
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, particularly in policy or nonprofit settings
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact communications strategies
- Experience with digital communications tools and content management systems
- Familiarity with health policy, criminal justice, or related fields
