Job Summary
The full-time salaried Director of Communications will develop and implement external communications strategies to enhance fundraising and programmatic outcomes while collaborating with the CEO on organizational strategic planning in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead the annual communications strategy aligned with the organization's mission
- Manage the Mosaic brand and oversee all external communication platforms to enhance visibility
- Collaborate with the program team to track progress and integrate data storytelling for funders
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in a support role, preferably in the environmental or nonprofit sector
- Strong judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High fluency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and proficiency in online communication tools
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, and various web CMSs
- Prior experience working with Mosaic is required
