Director of Compliance

Job Summary

To support the launch of a new third-party hybrid fronting carrier, the full-time remote Director of Compliance will provide practical compliance advice, oversee regulatory requirements, and manage third-party agreements while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight regarding policy forms, notices, and related compliance materials
• Participate in due diligence for Program Administrator/Managing General Agent opportunities to ensure compliance protocols are met
• Manage third-party agreements and prepare compliance status reports for stakeholders and board presentations

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compliance role within a (re)insurance company or related field
• Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance laws and regulations applicable to surplus lines insurers
• Experience with delegated authority underwriting and fronting arrangements
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High degree of professionalism, ethics, and integrity
