Director of Compliance

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership over regulatory compliance, the full-time salaried Director of Compliance will set the direction for Extend's compliance function, manage licensing and service contract programs, and represent the company in regulatory matters, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Set the strategic direction and roadmap for Extend's regulatory compliance program, ensuring scalability with business growth
• Serve as the executive-level owner for regulatory and licensing matters, providing guidance on complex issues
• Monitor the regulatory landscape and advise leadership on emerging requirements and risks

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in insurance, service contract, or regulatory compliance, with a focus on strategy and governance
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align compliance strategy with commercial needs
• Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree required; JD or relevant advanced degree preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in managing regulatory relationships and cross-functional compliance programs
