Director of Corporate Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise accounting function, the full-time remote Director of Corporate Accounting will set the strategic direction for financial reporting, oversee accounting operations, and drive continuous improvement in policies and processes to support scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for accounting functions, aligning policies and controls with corporate objectives
• Lead accounting operations including the close process, consolidation, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
• Develop and manage the accounting organization's structure, budget, and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Experience managing the accounting close, consolidation, and external reporting processes for a complex organization
• Proven track record of implementing accounting systems and SOX-compliant processes
• Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements preferred
