Director of Credit Risk Analytics

Job Summary

To lead innovative credit risk strategies, the full-time remote Director of Credit Risk Analytics will manage underwriting and portfolio credit strategies, oversee credit quality and performance in the Credit Card business, and collaborate across various teams to enhance risk management using data and machine learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize underwriting and portfolio credit strategies using advanced analytics and machine learning models
• Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for executive leadership and the Credit Risk Committee
• Ensure credit losses remain within the company's defined risk appetite while fostering cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience managing credit risk within Credit Card businesses
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to develop high-performing teams
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly to various stakeholders
