Director of Cybersecurity
Job Summary
To enhance security operations and compliance, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead initiatives in Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and DevSecOps, while implementing an automation-first model in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
- Oversee the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and resilience programs
- Direct governance and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
- Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, particularly PCI DSS and NIST CSF
