Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security practices within the organization, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps initiatives, while fostering an automation-first and AI-assisted security model, with a hybrid or onsite work option available in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation to streamline operations
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response, forensics, and vulnerability management programs
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous compliance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven track record of integrating security into DevSecOps practices and managing SOC operations
• Extensive knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance frameworks such as PCI DSS and NIST CSF
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are preferred
