Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and integrate cybersecurity into product delivery, the full-time Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, manage compliance and risk, and oversee automation initiatives in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to improve efficiency
• Lead security operations, including incident response and resilience programs, while managing third-party security partnerships
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing security teams
• Proven track record in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation or AI-driven processes
• Deep understanding of identity and privileged access management, along with GRC experience in compliance frameworks like PCI DSS
