Director of Cybersecurity
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Director of Cybersecurity, the ideal candidate will lead security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps while transitioning to an automation-first, AI-assisted model, with a hybrid or onsite work option available within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Set and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
- Lead the transformation of security operations to an AI-assisted model, overseeing incident response and vulnerability management
- Manage compliance programs and ensure adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of integrating security into DevSecOps practices
- Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and security automation
- Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
