Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security integration within operations, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, operations, and compliance while fostering an automation-first environment, based in Scottsdale, AZ with hybrid or onsite options.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
• Oversee security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
• Manage governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Proven experience transitioning security from gatekeeping to embedded DevSecOps delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response management
• Familiarity with cloud security, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices
