Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security operations and integrate security into product delivery, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, operations, and compliance efforts while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and managed services to improve efficiency
• Lead the development of an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and continuous compliance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven track record of transitioning security practices to an embedded, DevSecOps model
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation or AI-driven processes
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management and experience with compliance frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
