Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security operations in a hybrid or onsite capacity, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead the transformation of security practices into product delivery, manage security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps, while focusing on automation and AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement the enterprise security strategy, emphasizing secure-by-design practices and automation
• Lead the development of security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and continuous compliance efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
• Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing MDR/MSSP providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, along with experience in governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
