Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security integration within operations, the full-time Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, manage security operations, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise security strategy that emphasizes automation and secure-by-design practices
• Lead security operations, including incident response and resilience programs, while managing vendor relationships and security budgets
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulations and effective risk management across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of transitioning security operations to a DevSecOps model
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security automation
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and telecom regulations
