Job Summary
To enhance security integration within operations, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, manage security operations, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance efforts, with the option for hybrid or onsite work in Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and reducing manual tasks
- Lead security operations, including incident response and vulnerability management, while transitioning to an AI-assisted model
- Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Proven track record in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
- Strong background in SOC operations and incident response, including managing security service providers
- Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
