Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Director of Cybersecurity, the successful candidate will lead the transformation of security practices into product delivery and operations, focusing on security operations, governance, risk compliance, and DevSecOps while operating in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, promoting secure-by-design practices and automation
- Oversee security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and resilience programs
- Lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and continuous compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in transitioning security organizations to embedded, DevSecOps-style delivery
- Strong background in SOC operations and managing security vendors
- Knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as GRC frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
