Job Summary
To enhance security operations and integrate cybersecurity into product delivery, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, operations, and compliance initiatives while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, focusing on automation and high-value decision-making
- Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
- Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing security teams
- Experience transitioning security operations to a DevSecOps model and managing MDR/MSSP providers
- Strong knowledge of identity and privileged access management, as well as governance frameworks like PCI DSS and NIST CSF
- Proficiency in cloud security, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices
