Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To enhance security integration in operations, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead security strategy, manage security operations, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, with the option for hybrid or onsite work in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise security strategy that prioritizes automation and integrates security into product delivery
• Lead the transition to an AI-assisted security operations center (SOC) and manage incident response and forensics
• Oversee compliance programs, including PCI DSS and telecom regulations, while ensuring continuous compliance and risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing security teams
• Proven experience in transforming security operations to a DevSecOps model
• Strong background in SOC operations, incident response, and managing security service providers
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management, along with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
