Job Summary
To enhance security operations and compliance, the full-time Director of Cybersecurity will lead the transformation of security practices into product delivery and daily operations, focusing on risk reduction and automation while working in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the enterprise security strategy, emphasizing secure-by-design practices and automation
- Lead security operations, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
- Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and continuous compliance practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Strong background in SOC operations and incident response management
- Deep knowledge of identity and privileged access management
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and NIST CSF, preferably in a telecom environment
