Job Summary
To enhance security operations and compliance, the full-time salaried Director of Cybersecurity will lead the enterprise security strategy, manage security operations, and oversee governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, with the option for hybrid or onsite work near Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement an enterprise security strategy that integrates security into product delivery and operations
- Lead the transition to an automation-first, AI-assisted security operations center (SOC) while managing incident response and resilience programs
- Oversee governance, risk, and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to regulations and managing third-party vendor risks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing security teams
- Proven experience transitioning security functions to embedded DevSecOps practices
- Strong background in security operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST CSF, and telecom regulations
