Job Summary
To lead the transformation of security operations, the full-time Director of Cybersecurity will manage security strategy, governance, and operations while implementing automation and AI-driven solutions, based in a hybrid or onsite environment within 50 miles of Scottsdale, AZ.
Key responsibilities
- Set and execute the enterprise security strategy, focusing on secure-by-design practices and automation
- Lead the transition to an AI-assisted Security Operations Center (SOC) while overseeing incident response and vulnerability management
- Manage compliance programs and vendor risk management, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS and telecom obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in integrating security into DevSecOps and application delivery
- Strong background in security operations, incident response, and managing MDR/MSSP providers
- Knowledge of identity and access management, as well as governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
