Director of Data Analytics
Job Summary
Building and leading a centralized data and analytics function, the full-time remote Director of Data Analytics will own the full data lifecycle, establish architecture and governance, and create automated reporting capabilities to enhance visibility into company performance.
Key responsibilities
- Architect the company's data warehouse and BI infrastructure to replace ad-hoc reporting with reliable, reusable assets
- Establish governance and definitions for company KPIs to ensure metrics are consistent and withstand scrutiny
- Build automated dashboards and operating reviews for executives and stakeholders to support informed decision-making
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in data, analytics, or business intelligence, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Experience building analytics capabilities from the ground up, demonstrating a zero-to-one approach
- Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data stacks and BI platforms
- Knowledge of SaaS business metrics and experience with executive-level reporting
- Proven track record of designing data governance frameworks across multiple business units
