Director of Data Architecture

Job Summary

To provide architecture leadership across our Microsoft Data & AI practice, the full-time Director of Data Architecture will translate client business and technology priorities into scalable, secure, governed, and AI-ready data architectures using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, leading discovery and architecture workshops to translate business needs into executable architectures
• Define target-state Data & AI architectures and lead modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and analytics solutions
• Architect AI-ready data platforms and establish governance patterns to support enterprise analytics and AI applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• 12+ years of technology experience with significant expertise in enterprise data platforms and architecture
• 5+ years of senior technical leadership experience delivering large-scale enterprise data solutions
• Deep experience with Microsoft Data & AI solutions, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and Azure security frameworks
