Job Summary
Owning the full data architecture end to end, the full-time Director of Data Architecture will manage data ingestion, ETL, and transformation processes while overseeing devops and infrastructure for the AI engineering team in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage the data architecture from ingestion through reporting and dashboard delivery
- Oversee devops and infrastructure for AI engineering systems, ensuring reliability and performance
- Build and lead the data and platform team, mentoring engineers and aligning technical investments with business priorities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in architecting and building production platforms
- Hands-on experience with data architecture, including ingestion, ETL, and reporting layers
- Proven devops experience with systems you designed performing in production at scale
- Depth of knowledge across the modern data stack, including big data processing and data warehousing technologies
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading teams, with readiness to take on direct reports
