Job Summary
Leading the architectural evolution towards real-time data, the full-time remote Director of Data Architecture will define and communicate the data architecture strategy, manage a global team, and partner with executive leaders to align data initiatives with business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Define and communicate the data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards
- Lead the transition from batch processing to real-time data architectures
- Guide architecture decisions related to data quality, governance, and compliance
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering, including leadership of senior technical professionals
- Demonstrated experience with real-time data processing and modern cloud data platforms
- Strong foundations in data modeling, warehousing, and distributed data systems
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python for design review and engineering engagement
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
