Director of Data Enablement

Job Summary

Leading the strategic direction for data initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Data Enablement will define and implement data governance and reporting analytics across the R&D organization, ensuring data is AI-ready while collaborating with various teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the R&D data strategy roadmap, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with enterprise standards
• Oversee the implementation of data governance frameworks and establish data quality standards to ensure high data integrity and readiness for AI applications
• Collaborate with R&D stakeholders to deliver governed data products and analytical reporting that drive strategic insights and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• 8-10+ years of experience in data management or governance within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
• Proven track record of implementing data governance frameworks in a regulated environment
• Deep understanding of R&D data domains and regulatory compliance
• Experience collaborating with data science and AI teams and familiarity with modern data solutions
