Director of Data Engineering
Job Summary
To lead the design and evolution of client-facing data and analytics solutions, the full-time remote Director of Data Engineering will manage the Data Products & Engineering team, set technical direction, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and feasible solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the head of the Data Products & Engineering department, setting vision and technical direction
- Lead and develop team members, ensuring operational health and reliability of data infrastructure
- Collaborate with Business Development to scope opportunities and support pre-sales technical strategy
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and familiarity with data integration and solution architecture concepts
- Experience in solutions engineering, data engineering, or analytics in a technical role
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and executable solution plans
- Team leadership experience, preferably in a direct management or tech-lead capacity
- Experience working across Sales, Product, Engineering, or analytics functions is a strong plus
