Job Summary
Leading a dynamic team, the full-time Director of Data Engineering will oversee the architecture, reliability, and modernization of enterprise data platforms while working in a remote or hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Data Engineering team, providing technical direction, performance management, and accountability for delivery
- Own the architecture and ongoing support of the enterprise data warehouse and data platforms, ensuring stability and performance
- Collaborate with executives and business leaders to translate business needs into practical data solutions and prioritize work based on business value
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or business intelligence, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Significant hands-on experience with enterprise data solutions on Databricks
- Experience in modernizing SQL Server data warehouses, ETL processes, and OLAP cubes
- Preferred experience in healthcare or regulated data environments
