Job Summary
Providing hands-on technical leadership for multiple data-engineering teams, the full-time remote Director of Data Engineering will guide architecture, solution design, and implementation while ensuring the delivery of reliable end-to-end data pipelines within the Wealth business.
Key responsibilities
- Lead four data-engineering teams, offering leadership to technical leads and a distributed engineering organization
- Review technical designs and code, ensuring the implementation of scalable and maintainable solutions
- Establish engineering standards for data quality, error handling, and reliable pipeline development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Significant professional experience in data engineering with leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational database concepts, and data architecture
- Experience designing and operating modern end-to-end data pipelines, particularly with Databricks
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate across engineering teams and stakeholders
