Director of Data Governance

Job Summary

Leading the Global Master Data Management and Data Governance initiatives, the full-time Director of Data Governance will manage the Master Data Management policy, oversee data systems and infrastructure, and ensure strategic alignment across the orthopedic organization while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Global Master Data Management data landscape, continuously assessing and harmonizing organizational needs to drive business objectives
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Global Master Data Management team, ensuring members possess the necessary skills to meet business goals
• Develop and lead systems improvement initiatives across Master Data Management systems to enhance operational capabilities and efficiencies

Required qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Business/IT (MBA or MS preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including prior people management experience
• Proven track record of creating and implementing Master Data Management strategies
• Experience in developing training materials and instructing various levels of staff
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment
