Director of Data Science
Job Summary
To support strategic priorities for Consumer and Developer Experience, the full-time salaried Director of Data Science will manage a cross-functional team to deliver innovative data-driven products and insights, leveraging advanced technologies in a remote-eligible environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with software engineers, business analysts, and product managers to deliver impactful products for customers
- Utilize technologies such as Python, AWS, and Spark to analyze large volumes of data and extract insights
- Develop and implement machine learning models through all phases of the development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years, or a PhD plus 4 years of experience in data analytics
- At least 4 years of experience with open source programming languages for large scale data analysis
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with machine learning technologies
- Experience utilizing relational databases for data management
- Proven ability to build, validate, and implement statistical models
