Director of Data Science

Job Summary

To build a world-class data science function, the full-time remote Director of Data Science will manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of data marts and machine learning models while collaborating with clinical and operational teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the machine learning strategy and execution, including predictive model development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement clinical interventions and set up analytics data models in DBT
• Analyze clinical data and program performance to identify high-risk patients and enhance patient engagement

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics with hands-on expertise in real-world data
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading data science teams in healthcare
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for complex data analysis and machine learning model production
• Experience in developing impactful BI reports and dashboards for end-users
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
