Director of Deal Strategy
Job Summary
Owning the economics and pricing of multi-million dollar agreements, the full-time remote Director of Deal Strategy will manage deal structures, pricing guidance, and qualification processes while collaborating with Finance, Product, and sales teams to optimize contract terms for Fortune 500 clients and government agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Build and agree on the economics of platform deals with Finance, ensuring accurate cost inputs
- Shape pricing and packaging strategies in collaboration with Finance and Product teams
- Provide sellers with early pricing guidance and support the structuring of large agreements
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in pricing strategy or commercial finance, with 3+ years managing $1M+ agreements in a software or infrastructure context
- Experience in building deal P&Ls and unit-economics models for usage-based products
- Proven ability to set prices and design packages beyond discount policies
- Strong finance fluency, including understanding margin floors and revenue recognition
- Ability to make sound judgments and recommendations under deadline pressure
