Director of Decision Science

Job Summary

Leading the decision science function, the full-time remote Director of Decision Science will build and manage a team that transforms data into actionable insights, overseeing experimental design, predictive modeling, and strategic partnerships across various departments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the decision science team, focusing on hiring, onboarding, and career growth
• Set the function's strategy and roadmap, determining which analytical problems to tackle
• Partner with cross-functional teams to convert business questions into analytical solutions and present findings to senior leaders

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or decision science, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Proven track record of analytical work that has influenced business decisions and outcomes
• Deep expertise in experimental design, causal inference, statistical modeling, and machine learning
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or R
• A master's or PhD in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
