Director of Denials
Job Summary
Driving operational performance within the denials lifecycle, the fully remote Director of Denials will manage key operational KPIs, optimize workflows, and ensure quality outcomes while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive performance against key operational KPIs, including throughput, cycle time, quality, and productivity
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies, enabling faster, more effective workflow execution
- Partner cross-functionally to support effective workflow execution and issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 7-10+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with exposure to denial management
- Proven ability to manage and improve workflow performance within a defined operational segment
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and denial management processes
- Experience leading teams in a metrics-driven, performance-focused environment
