Job Summary
Driving operational performance in the denials lifecycle, the fully remote Director of Denials will manage workflow execution, optimize processes, and ensure accountability while focusing on key operational KPIs such as throughput and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive performance against key operational KPIs, including throughput, cycle time, quality, and productivity
- Identify, escalate, and resolve blockers, bottlenecks, and performance gaps impacting workflow execution
- Partner cross-functionally to support effective workflow execution and lead process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 7-10+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with exposure to denial management
- Strong operational leadership capability with a focus on execution and performance management
- Proven ability to manage and improve workflow performance within a defined function
- Experience working with practice management systems, EHRs, or payer portals
