Job Summary
Leading the strategic direction of design systems and operations, the full-time Director of Design Systems will manage a team focused on enhancing digital experiences through governance, standards, and innovative practices while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and govern the enterprise design system strategy, ensuring consistent digital experiences across products and platforms
- Lead the Bank Design team to evolve mobile design capabilities, integrating design patterns and accessibility standards into the design system
- Champion AI integration in design workflows, evaluating tools and establishing best practices for team adoption
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, or related fields
- 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5-8 years in user experience and product innovation
- Proven leadership experience in mentoring design teams and recruiting top talent
- Strong strategic communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels
- Experience in talent management and annual headcount planning
