Director of Development, AI
Job Summary
Leading the development of AI native products, the full-time salaried Director of Development, AI Native will build and manage a high-performance team while leveraging expertise in software architecture, cloud services, and modern programming languages to shape innovative solutions in life sciences, all in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the development of AI software applications, ensuring alignment with business and go-to-market requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams, mentoring engineers and collaborating with UX and product management to enhance product features
- Oversee the integration of AI infrastructure and cloud-native design principles to optimize performance and scalability
Required qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 12+ years of experience, including at least 10 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in designing and implementing AI infrastructure, particularly with LLMs
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
