Director of DevOps
Job Summary
Leading multiple DevOps and automation teams, the full-time Director of DevOps will drive operational excellence in cloud modernization initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple DevOps and automation engineering teams (20-40 professionals)
- Execute CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud migration strategies for legacy data center workloads
- Establish metrics and continuous improvement processes to optimize delivery performance and operational excellence
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of technology experience with 7+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles
- 5+ years of experience leading and scaling DevOps teams (15+ professionals)
- Proven track record of successful cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization at enterprise scale
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
- Multi-cloud platform expertise with AWS, GCP, and Azure
