Director of Digital Manufacturing

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Director of Digital Manufacturing Innovation, this role will manage the global digital innovation portfolio for Amgen Manufacturing, focusing on enhancing digital, data, and AI capabilities to improve manufacturing efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Set and maintain the global digital manufacturing innovation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on impact and readiness
• Lead a global team to define manufacturing needs and ensure successful deployment and adoption of digital products
• Establish data ownership and quality standards while assessing data readiness for digital and AI solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years or Master's degree with 7 years or Doctorate with 4 years of experience in Engineering, Operations, or Digital Technology
• Experience leading digital transformation in a global biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of bringing digital products or AI solutions from concept to production
• Knowledge of data ownership, quality standards, and integration across manufacturing systems
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and projects
