Director of Digital Standards Products

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced leader, the full-time Director of Digital Standards Products will manage the strategy, development, and adoption of Digital Reference Standards (dRS) Products remotely, collaborating across various teams to enhance scientific rigor and public health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Structure the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for USP-ID, clarifying customer value propositions and investment recommendations
• Lead scientific product management by converting customer insights and regulatory expectations into actionable software requirements and development priorities
• Manage the software development roadmap, including backlog prioritization, release planning, and collaboration with external partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field
• Ten or more years of relevant experience in scientific software, digital laboratory products, or regulated life science product development
• Proven ability to identify customer needs and articulate product market fit in a scientific software context
• Experience managing external software development and commercial partnerships
• Working knowledge of analytical laboratory workflows and performance concepts such as accuracy and traceability
