Director of Distribution Simulation

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and development of simulation capabilities, the full-time Director of Distribution Simulation will manage global supply chain simulation projects, enhance operational efficiencies, and support decision-making processes remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a roadmap for building and scaling simulation capabilities within the organization
• Own the simulation project portfolio, translating business challenges into structured use cases and prioritizing initiatives based on strategic alignment
• Establish global standards for model architecture, ensuring accurate representation of operational constraints and facilitating peer-review practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business administration, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning or operations, with at least 5 years in a management role
• Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain operations, including demand and inventory planning
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to evaluate network options and interpret complex operational data
