Director of Edibles Product Development

Job Summary

Leading the Edibles product development team, the remote Director of Edibles Product Development will manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept to commercialization, while mentoring a dynamic team and driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute new product strategies aligned with business objectives and market demands
• Oversee the product development process, ensuring high-quality formulations and specifications
• Manage and mentor a team of food scientists, fostering collaboration across departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Culinary Science, Chemistry, or a related field; Master's degree or PhD preferred
• 10+ years of leadership experience in food science or product development within a CPG or food/beverage setting
• Proven track record of delivering significant business results through product innovation
• Familiarity with FDA and OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment
