Director of Electro-Optical Validation

Job Summary

Leading a team focused on the validation of next-generation high-speed electro-optical modules, the full-time salaried Director of Electro-Optical Validation will develop validation strategies, manage project timelines, and ensure comprehensive testing and analysis in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of characterization, verification, and validation plans for electro-optical products
• Manage the validation team, overseeing technical project management, performance evaluations, and talent development
• Supervise measurement activities and deliver validation reports, identifying issues and driving failure analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant industry experience and 5+ years in team management
• Proven experience in leading validation and failure analysis of high-speed electro-optical hardware products
• Direct experience validating Silicon Photonics assemblies or advanced optical modules
• Expertise with high-speed electro-optical devices and associated test equipment
• Strong debugging skills in RF electronics and embedded firmware
