Job Summary
To support a growing engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will scale the team, develop operational processes, and ensure high-quality software delivery while collaborating closely with leadership and making regular visits to the Reno HQ.
Key responsibilities
- Scale the engineering organization by recruiting and retaining top-tier engineers across various locations
- Develop leadership and operational processes to facilitate growth and streamline software delivery
- Collaborate with the CEO and other leadership teams to address critical business needs through software solutions
Required qualifications
- 15+ years in software engineering, with 10+ years in engineering leadership
- Direct experience managing an engineering organization through significant growth periods
- Proven track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring engineering managers
- Domain expertise in manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
