Job Summary
To build and enable a high-performing engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will own the architecture, delivery, and engineering roadmap while ensuring fast and reliable product delivery through effective team management and AI integration.
Key responsibilities
- Own architecture design, delivery, and engineering roadmap, collaborating closely with Product teams
- Run monthly delivery cycles, ensuring teams demonstrate evidence-backed ability to meet commitments
- Design and develop engineering teams, focusing on accountability and effective management structures
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
- Proven track record of making an engineering organization measurably faster using DORA metrics or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering at an organizational scale
- Experience in redesigning team structures and workflows for improved efficiency
- Managed high-availability services, including hosting or cloud environments
